The 2016 Great Smoky Mountains Photography Summit 

he peak of color season in the Great Smoky Mountains with some of the best nature and wildlife photographers in the business? In a nutshell, that is the second annual Great Smoky Mountains Photography Summit.  Five days of learning from, shooting with, being inspired by, and getting to know some of the greatest nature & wildlife photographers in the industry!  We don't yet have the full line up of instructors and speakers for 2016, but many of you expressed interest in registering as soon as possible.  

There will be a myriad of classroom breakout sessions along with a few large group sessions.   There will be panel discussions, presentations from the pros about their careers, and a variety of technical information for all levels of photographers.  We will also be going out to shoot what will hopefully be breathtaking fall color and splendor.

Our base camp will be Tremont Lodge and Resort in Townsend, Tennessee.  Tremont is located just a couple of miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  While allowing us to host all of the sessions and meetings on site at the convention center, the nature of the property, situated on 16 acres on the "quiet side of the Smokies", will allow plenty of informal networking and getting to know each other.  We even have some bonfire experiences planned on the lawn, weather permitting.

It doesn't matter your level of photographic knowledge or what kind of equipment you use, there is something at the Summit for everyone who loves the outdoors and photography.  We plan to have several vendors on hand and even some loaner equipment if you want to try something different. 

The 2016 Summit will be 5 days (October 26th-30th) and the investment will be $499.

Cancellation Policy:  Any cancellations made prior to September 1, 2016 will receive a full refund.  Cancellations between September 1st and October 1st will receive a 50% refund, and cancellations after October 1st will forfeit any refund.
